Jars & Canister
Jars and canisters are both containers used for storage, but they differ in shape and typically, in the type of lid. Jars are generally cylindrical or slightly conical with a wide mouth, often made of glass, ceramic, or plastic, and sealed with a lid. Canisters can be any shape, often cylindrical, and are frequently made of metal or ceramic, with a lid that seals tightly, sometimes with a gasket.
